A DAY FOR THE KIDS A HUGE SUCCESS

ArcTech Welding and Machining A Day for the Kids raises $38,106 and counting!

The 33rd annual CDC talent show is tonight at the North Peace Cultural Center. Moose FM will broadcast the show Starting at 6pm tonight. The CDC is one of the best facilities in BC when it come to early childhood development, particularly for kids with developmental delays and special needs. The CDC would not be able to provide the services that it does without the generous support from the community. Every year the talent show helps to raise fund for the CDC and this year funds are being raised to help the CDC build a much needed new facility. Yesterday Moose FM held our third annual ArcTech Welding and Machining A Day for the Kids. In 2006 the community of Fort St John helped us raise $25,000. This year the community helped us raise over $38,000... and we're still counting! You can still donate to the CDC until midnight tonight (March 2nd 2007) when the CDC talent show will be wrapped up. Visit moosefm.ca to donate.

CDC Board President Connie Surerus joined us in studio during the Day for the Kids. She told us the importance of the CDC to the community.
