Fourth day of PJ's and I'm getting too used to wearin' my comfies around work! haha.
Thanks for all your calls on reVITALizin' the downtown core in FSJ. Keep the opinions & comments comin' in the mornings! We love hearing what you think! Lastly, this is the last day to vote for Denny, and he is in a battle for 1st place with some weiner named Shane Weibe. SHANE CAN'T WIN! Let's bring our homeslice the 10 G's that'll help him out emmensely with the 2010 Olympic games!!!

BUCKWHEAT IS FROM ALASKA... SUMMER 2006 HE SET OFF TO RIDE HIS BIKE FROM FLORIDA ALL THE WAY BACK TO SKAGWAY AK. TO RAISE MONEY TO BUILD A MEDICAL CLINIC IN HIS HOME TOWN. HE MADE IT TO FORT ST JOHN... THEN STOPPED AT THE CULTURAL CENTER... THEN HIS BIKE GOT THIEVED. SO MOOSE FM, THE CITY OF FSJ AND FERRIS FAST CYCLES GOT TOGETHER, TO GET BUCKWHEAT A BIKE... THIS IS HIS STORY AND IT'S A GREAT ONE!
FORMER I MOTHER MOTHER EARTH FRONT MAN BRIAN BYRNE HAS HIS FIRST SOLO ALBUM, "TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS, AND IF IT RAINS", IN STORES... HE PLAYED HERE IN FSJ A FEW TIMES IN 2005 AND 06. HE SPOKE TO KRIS FROM THE SIDE OF THE ROAD ON HIS WAY TO GRAND PRAIRIE.

So Ashleigh Bartlett suddenly got tons of votes with only an hour left in the contest and "won" it? Something VERY fishy about that if you ask me. Bootlegger better audit votes to find out email addresses were legit.
Actually, that's the very reason it has taken so long for the votes to be counted. Bootlegger was aware of this and found out that within one night she jumped 2000 votes, so she or someone who knows her cheated, the votes were NOT legit. She isn't in 1st place and DID NOT win the money. Unfortunately, neither did Denny, however he is very appreciative of the residents in FSJ who voted for him. For this city to get him to 2nd place is just phenomenal!
Glad to hear Denny came second although Ashleigh claims in her blog that SHE came second. So who won? Shane? Either way, Denny or Shane, good BC boys who deserve it. Congrads to Denny for putting up a good fight.

well i've called her on it. Let's see if she responds. It's one thing to be a soar loser... it's another to lie to urself and actually believe you came in 2nd...
or maybe bootlegger messed up the tally... who knows.
When asked if Ashleigh came in second, the winner Shane also confirmed that it was indeed Denny who was a very close second, not Ashleigh. So yeah, there was some very fishy about her sudden burst of "votes". And she took the "close second place" comment off her site now. So congrads on Denny and good luck with his training. Hope we see a gold from him one day in the Olympics. Thanks for supporting him Moose FM.
haha, well when i asked her i dont think she knew she was kicked out of the contest for false votes... or whatever. She seemed to just guess that since she didnt get 1st she musta scored in 2nd.
Glad she took it off her site tho... when i told her that Denny had received 2nd, she never msged me back.
